Questions

Things people ask me

If yours isn’t here, ask when you write, or on the call.

Do you offer a free call first?

Yes — fifteen minutes. Your questions, a bit about what’s going on, and whether it feels okay to continue. It isn’t a session. You’re not committing to anything.

What happens in the first session?

There’s no rush. You can say a lot or almost nothing. I’ll ask what’s brought you. You don’t need a prepared story.

How many sessions will I need?

I can’t know from your first email. Some people come for a short stretch. Others longer. We check in as we go. You decide what still feels useful.

Does what I say stay private?

Yes. It stays between us. There are rare limits — mainly serious risk of harm — and I’ll explain those before we start.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. Write to me directly. You can involve your GP if you want to — you don’t have to.

Can we meet online?

Yes. Online anywhere in the UK, or face to face in Skipton.
